Chelsea boss Tuchel wanted PSG coach Camara to join staff
Tribal Football
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel was eager to bring Zoumana Camara from PSG to join his staff.
L'Equipe says today, the former Parisian player is in charge of PSG's U19s. But things could have turned out a lot differently.
Relieved of his duties with the first team on the arrival of Mauricio Pochettino, Camara was encouraged by Tuchel to follow him to Chelsea.
An offer was made for Camara to be part of the first team staff and to continue his coaching education.
However, PSG refused to release him from his contract before handing him the U19 post.
