According to a recent report from Football.London, Chelsea are preparing a new contract for Conor Gallagher amid heavy interest from other Premier League clubs. It is understood that his current contract at Stamford Bridge expires in the summer of 2025, however, the Blues are considering tying him down for a longer period as they look to offer him a neat wage increment to ensure he stays at the West London club.

Gallagher is having a tough campaign at the West London club as he has struggled to be consistent for them at the centre of the park. The 22-year-old has only found the back of the net once and managed to pick up just one assist over 26 appearances for Chelsea during this season across multiple competitions.

The England international has caught the eye at times but has failed to be reliable in the central areas after averaging 1.5 tackles, 0.6 interceptions, 0.5 clearances, 0.6 shots, 0.9 key passes and 0.5 dribbles per game in Premier League football.
