Chelsea announce Abu Dhabi friendly with Aston Villa

Chelsea have announced that they will meet Aston Villa in a friendly in Abu Dhabi on 11 December.

The Blues will be returning to Abu Dhabi for the first time since winning the Club World Cup there earlier this year and as well as enjoying some warm weather training, they will face Unai Emery’s Villa at Al Nahyan Stadium.

Kick off will be 2:10pm GMT.

Chelsea will be flying out to Abu Dhabi in December to face Aston Villa in a friendly match! 🤝

The match will of course feature players who are not at the World Cup, with Chelsea set to resume their season against Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge on 27 December.

Villa, meanwhile, have friendlies against Cardiff City and Villarreal coming up before welcoming Liverpool to Villa Park in the Premier League on Boxing Day.
