The race for the honorary title of best player in the African Nations Championship (CHAN 2024) is in full swing.

After the matches of the first round in Groups A, B, and C, several players have already made their mark.

The top honor goes to Tanzanian Mohamed Husseini, who leads the CHAN best players ranking with an average rating of 9.5 according to the specialized website Sofascore.

The 28-year-old scored a goal in the opening match, helping Tanzania to a 2-0 victory.
