CHAN 2024: Morocco reaches final after knocking out Senegal

Morocco has secured a spot in the final of the African Nations Championship (CHAN 2024) after a thrilling encounter against Senegal.

The two sides were inseparable (1-1) after 120 minutes of intense football. Layousse Samb opened the scoring for the Lions of Teranga, but Sabir Bougrine leveled the match for the Atlas Lions.

With nothing to separate the teams, the match was decided by a nerve-wracking penalty shootout. Cooler and more clinical under pressure, the Moroccans triumphed 5-3, booking their ticket to another continental final after successes in 2018 and 2023.

The Atlas Lions will now face Madagascar, who knocked out Sudan, in a never-before-seen final that promises to be unforgettable. CHAN 2024 has its finalists!
