Sudan will compete in their fourth African Nations Championship (CHAN) at this 8th edition, which will be hosted by Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. The "Nile Crocodiles" will take on Senegal, Congo and Nigeria.

Sudan clinched the bronze medal at the African Nations Championship (CHAN) in the 2011 and 2018 editions.
