The race for Brighton defender Shane Duffy is heating up.
The Daily Mail says Celtic are locked in a battle with West Ham, West Brom and Burnley for Republic of Ireland defender Duffy.
Duffy discussed a one year loan deal with Celtic boss Neil Lennon earlier this week.
Under contract until 2023, the 28-year-old is keen on a season in the the SPFL. However, a deal remains a long way off and depends on the clubs finding a compromise over a loan fee and wages.
Duffy made 19 appearances for Brighton in the English Premier League season, but looks to have slipped behind Lewis Dunk and Adam Webster in Graham Potter's pecking order.
