That is the question they must be asking themselves as the woman who has so often proven their scourge in the past was at it again in their European Championship opener on Thursday night.

Having already managed eight goals against them in her international career, she ensured they would remain her favourite victims with an ice cool penalty to put her side 3-0 up at St Mary’s against the tournament debutants.
That strike means that a fifth of her Norway goals have came against Northern Ireland.
She even has one against the Republic of Ireland too, taking her tally against the island to double figures.
The luck of the Irish indeed.
