Real Madrid will not be tempted to dip into the transfer market in what remains of the summer window, despite injuries to both Jude Bellingham and Eduardo Camavinga.

Carlo Ancelotti insists the club won't be panicked into signing another midfielder when neither player is expected to be sidelined for more than a month. The same goes at the back, despite David Alaba being ruled out for a while yet and Jesus Vallejo also nursing fitness issues.

Madrid lost Camavinga to a knee problem in the build-up to the UEFA Super Cup earlier this month, while Bellingham suffered a calf injury in training this week. The club also opted against replacing Toni Kroos following his retirement at the end of last season and have allowed home-grown Mario Martin to join Real Valladolid on loan until next summer.

"Camavinga is injured for a month and I think he will be back at the end of September," Ancelotti explained, expressing his lack of concern over midfield depth.

"We thought that a year to play could be very important for [Martin's] progress and we did. He will play for a year and then come back stronger and more ready."

The coach also stated on the subject of the back four: "We have resources, which are the youngsters we have and they are very good. We also have [Aurelien] Tchouameni as an emergency. We are waiting for Vallejo with all the calm in the world."

For the time being, Antonio Rudiger and Eder Militao are Madrid's only fit and available senior centre-backs. Tchouameni is a plug-in option already seen in action last season, while 19-year-old Jacobo Ramon has been promoted to the first-team squad to provide additional cover.

In midfield, Ancelotti has Luka Modric, Federico Valverde, Arda Guler and Dani Ceballos at his disposal, even if Tchouameni does have to drop into the defence to help out.
