Cardiff City Women hold the last unbeaten record in the Genero Adran Premier following Aberystwyth Town’s defeat to Wrexham.

Adran Premier

Aberystwyth Town 1-2 Wrexham (Att: 255) Pontypridd United 1-5 Cardiff City Women Barry Town United 4-2 Cardiff Met (Att: 144) The New Saints 1-2 Swansea City (Att: 90)

Wrexham ended Aberystwyth Town’s unbeaten start with a 2-1 away win which lifted them into second place. Amy Jenkins did out Aber ahead but Rosie Hughes and Rebecca Pritchard’s goals turned the game round by the break.

Cardiff City Women opened up a three-point lead at the top with a 5-1 result at Pontypridd United. Eliza Collie, Siobhan Walsh, Molly Kehoe, Seren Watkins and Mikayla Cook were all on the scoresheet for the Bluebirds, Shannon Greenway netting for Ponty.

Swansea City came away from TNS 2-1 victors to sit level on points with Wrexham. Robyn Pinder got the winner in the 97th minute, after Stacey John-Davis’ opener had been cancelled out by Ella Hartley with six minutes left.

Barry Town United are off the mark and off the bottom, having sent Cardiff Met to a 4-2 defeat. Amy Long struck first for the Archers, Aimee Deacon, India Shanahan and Holly Jenkins then scoring to send Barry in 3-1 up at the interval. Despite a 51st-minure red card for Met’s Gracie Batsford, Faith Mulenga did pull it back to 3-2, before Taite Trivett made sure of the points for the hosts.

Adran North

Bangor 0-5 Llandudno Airbus UK Broughton 1-0 NFA (Att: 58) Connah’s Quay Nomads P-P Llanfair United Rhyl P-P Felinheli

Llandudno knocked Connah’s Quay Nomads off the top on goal-difference, after their 5-0 victory at Bangor. Becky Jarvis-Evans, Ffion Owen, Stacey Tradewell and Stevie Donougher all scored in the first half, Jaz Dutton later completing the scoring from 30 yards via the crossbar. Airbus edged NFA by the only goal of the game to register their opening win of the season, Lucie White making the breakthrough after the hour mark.

Adran South

Caldicot Town 0-0 Swansea University Cwmbran Celtic 1-2 Cascade (Att: 41) Briton Ferry Llansawel P-P Llanelli Town Coed Duon 0-5 Pontardawe Town

Cascade went level on points with leaders Briton Ferry Llansawel following their 2-1 win at Cwmbran Celtic, Molly Chapman scoring either side of a Fiona Anthony equaliser. Swansea University are only a point behind the top two but had to settle for a goalless draw at Caldicot Town, as the hosts got off the mark. Pontardawe Town picked up a first win with all five goals of the game at Coed Duon, Renee Day with a double and singles from Keira Harris, Catryn Cook and Sara Llewelyn.

Bute Energy Welsh Cup 1st Round

Aberaman 4-3 Cardiff Wanderers

Verity Hetherington scored three times and Sam Evans once as Aberaman eliminated Cardiff Wanderers, who had pulled it back from 3-0 to 3-2 and 4-2 to 4-3. Aberaman now travel to Pontypridd United in the second round on 12 November.
