Cardiff City will be striving to return to winning ways on home soil when they welcome Sheffield United on Saturday afternoon.
The Bluebirds currently sit 18th in the Championship standings and are four points above West Brom who currently occupy 22nd place.
As for the Blades, a three-game winning run frustratingly came to an end on Tuesday evening, with Ben Wiles’ 38th-minute strike securing all three points for Rotherham United at Bramall Lane.
Paul Heckingbottom’s side have picked up 14 points from six games against the division’s bottom nine thus far and will be hoping to improve that record further in South Wales.
It remains to be seen if Cardiff got through Tuesday’s defeat without any further injury concerns or general unavailability.
Sheffield United have done fantastically well this season when considering the consistent injury blows, to key personnel, that they have suffered during the early stages of the campaign.
Oli McBurnie and John Fleck are now doubts for Saturday’s clash with the Bluebirds, with the former taking a hit to the ankle against the Millers, whilst the latter felt a strain in his calf.
