Chelsea are now set to accelerate transfer talks to sign players this coming summer transfer window but they’re sticking to their project.
The big news comes after Chelsea finally secured their qualification to play Champions League football next season on the final day of the Premier League season on Sunday.
The Blues had to win this game to secure it, and they managed a 1-0 away win against Nottingham Forest to provide scenes of celebrations amongst the Blues players and staff yesterday evening. And in by doing this, Chelsea also set a brand new record in football!
Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca was so pleased with making the Champions League that he took the opportunity to swear at all of his critics across the season by telling them all to F off!!
Chelsea’s project is to sign young players and develop them – it has been a highly criticised transfer strategy by many, and even Chelsea fans dislike it.
Bringing in more experience would be smart, as Paul Merson mentioned once again yesterday, but it doesn’t look like that will happen unfortunately.

According to Kieran Gill of The Daily Mail, Chelsea are now set to accelerate talks with their targets and there remains a desire inside Chelsea to stand by their approach in buying and then nurturing the best young talent in the world.
And also according to him, Chelsea’s striker shortlist is Hugo Ekitike of Frankfurt, Liam Delap of Ipswich Town, and Benjamin Sesko of RB Leipzig.
Well, let’s see what happens and what they actually do then I guess.
