A member of the midfield ranks at Bundesliga outfit Stuttgart has given the green light to a summer move to Spanish heavyweights Atlético Madrid.

That’s according to market insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Enzo Millot as the player in question.

The name of attacking midfielder Millot has emerged as an altogether prominent one in the headlines at Atlético Madrid over recent days.

This comes after word was forthcoming that, amid an ongoing search for reinforcements in the middle of the park, the Frenchman has emerged as a leading Rojiblancos target.

And as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media on Tuesday is anything to go by, then interest in a joining of forces between the parties is very much mutual.

As per a report from journalist Fabrizio Romano:

‘Enzo Millot has said yes to Atlético Madrid project and personal terms are fully agreed. Negotiations underway with Stuttgart to get the green light under €23m clause.’
