In a recent report, Fichajes stated that Arsenal star Bukayo Saka is gathering interest from Paris Saint-Germain. It has been mentioned that the French club are ready to break the bank to sign the English winger from the Gunners.

Saka’s Brilliant Season In The Premier League

Saka is having another spectacular campaign at the North London club as he has been responsible for producing a series of match-winning displays on the right side of Mikel Arteta’s attack. The English sensation has registered 16 goals and secured 15 assists in 35 appearances for the Gunners this season in all competitions.

The 22-year-old has been an excellent performer in the final third based on his average of 3.0 shots, 2.5 key passes and 1.4 dribbles per game in Premier League football. He has even been tidy when distributing possession in the opponent’s half after completing 83.1% of his attempted passes in the English top tier (stats via whoscored).

His current contract at the Emirates Stadium will run out in the summer of 2027. Hence, Arteta is under no immediate pressure to cash in on him at the end of this season.

Arsenal Won’t Ever Let Saka Go Right Now

Saka has got the pace to cause a lot of headaches for his marker out in the wide areas. He can make a few dangerous runs with the ball in the opponent’s half and can shoot the ball with venom and accuracy from long range. The English wing wizard can also create a few meaningful openings for his teammates in the final third. He mainly operates on the right wing but can also function as a left-sided wide player if required.

Saka is currently one of the most important members of Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta‘s first team. He has proven his worth in the Premier League over the past couple of seasons and could help the Gunners challenge for a lot of major honours in the coming seasons.

At 22, Saka has got a very promising future ahead of him and will only get better in the future. Thus, the North London club simply cannot afford to lose a player of his quality in the summer transfer period.
