Flamengo have been hit with yet another thigh injury as Bruno Henrique was ruled out of Wednesday’s duel with Juventude.
Bruno Henrique performed image exams and the Flamengo medical department informed the team that he will be unavailable.
However, the medical team were unable to deliver a timetable for his return, which only adds to the worry during this delicate time for Flamengo.
Giorgian de Arrascaeta has already been ruled out for three weeks with a thigh problem of his own after suffering an injury during World Cup qualifying with Uruguay.
David Luiz, also out with a thigh injury, has no timetable for his return either.
Goalkeeper Diego Alves (right foot) defender Gustavo Henrique, (right thigh), and midfielder Diego Ribas (calf) will also miss Wednesday but should return soon.
Midfielder Éverton Ribeiro, striker Gabigol, and Chilean right-back Mauricio Isla are still away on international duty while Vitinho misses out as he’s suspended due to yellow card accumulation.
