In a game that served as an opportunity for a few players to lay their claim for a spot in the Brazil squad later this year, it was PSG’s experienced captain that would open the score.

Barcelone winger Raphinha delivered a devastating inswinging corner kick which Mariquinhos met high above anyone else close to the near post.

Another PSG star stood out in the first period as Neymar continued to pull the strings for Tite’s side. Receiving the ball in the middle of the park, the 30-year-old broke forward before grinding Richarlison on the edge of the area.

The Tottenham striker took the shot on first time, sweeping his effort low and beyond the outstretched Jojo Wollacott in the Ghana goal.

Neymar would combine with Richarlison again 10 minutes later as the 25-year-old headed home at the near post following the PSG star’s free-kick to put the game beyond Otto Addo’s side.

The 30-year-old would waste a glorious chance to add a goal to his own tally after André Ayew hit the crossbar for Ghana as Brazil won 3-0.
