Brighton in the relegation zone after England brace

Scorers: England 12ā€², 78ā€²; Terland 10ā€², Lee 65ā€²

Brighton end the day in the relegation zone after two goals from Bethany England saw Tottenham twice fight back to earn a draw.

The visitors took an early lead at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium when Elisabeth Terland bundled in from close range.

But their lead lasted just two minutes, with England soon scoring from a corner at the other end.

The Seagulls went back in front in the 65th minute, with substitute Lee Geum-min finding the net with a perfectly placed finish.

But they were soon pegged back by England a second time, with the Spurs striker finishing emphatically after being played through on goal.

England then came off and was replaced by Ria Percival, making her return to action after a year out injured.

That result leaves Brighton 11th in the table and behind Leicester on goal difference, while Spurs remain ninth.

Leicester City moved out of the Womenā€™s Super League relegation zone with a comprehensive victory over a Liverpool side who have still not won a league match away from home all season.

The Foxes made a bright start and took the lead on 15 minutes, when a corner found its way to Josie Green, and her deflected effort found the net.

And it was soon 2-0 courtesy of Carrie Jones, whose shot also took a deflection and hit the bar on its way in.

The third goal came early in the second half, when Ashleigh Plumptre rose highest to head home from a corner for her first goal of the season.

And there was time for a late clincher to put the icing on the cake, when Missy Goodwin headed in from Courtney Nevinā€™s cross for 4-0.
