Olympique Lyonnais midfielder Mahamadou Diawara (18) is attracting interest from across Europe. According to Foot Mercato, Brighton and Hove Albion and Borussia Dortmund are amongst a long list of teams that could battle it out for the France youth international’s signature at the end of the season.

France U19 international Diawara arrived at Lyon from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer in the summer. He has made four Ligue 1 starts in a struggling OL side, and whilst his contract runs until 2027, Diawara is already attracting interest, and could therefore be set to make another move come the summer.

Diawara could have left in January, with multiple French clubs attempting to secure a loan, including Clermont Foot, Annecy and Toulouse, however, the Frenchman is attracting another level of interest for a summer move. Foot Mercato understands that Brighton, Dortmund, RC Lens, Freiburg and Antwerp are all lining up a move.
