Kenny Lala (33) is approaching the end of his contract at Stade Brestois. The defender, who joined the Breton club on a free transfer back in January 2023, has featured prominently this season, and whilst a contract extension can’t be ruled out, he is now attracting interest from elsewhere, according to a report from Foot Mercato.
Lala has played 66 times for Brest since making his move, including 11 appearances this season, three of which have come in the UEFA Champions League. His performances, both domestically and on the European scene have seen numerous clubs register an interest.
The Frenchman is free to discuss a pre-contract agreement with another club from January with his current deal expiring at the end of the campaign. Foot Mercato understands that, among the suitors, there is one Qatari club and one club from Serie A. Lala has not made a decision on his future, but he is prioritising the sporting project.
