Brentford have announced that midfielder Mathias Jensen has signed a new deal with the club, keeping him in west London until 2026.
The Dane has cemented himself as one of Brentford’s most important players this season, chipping in with two goals and four assists from midfield.
Brentford boss Thomas Frank was not shy in raining the praise on his midfielder.
“Matti has developed his pressing abilities this season, as well as his defensive mindset, which is so important for a Premier League midfield player.
“Iam pleased he will be part of the next stage of our journey.”
The Bees currently sit in 8th place in the Premier League, astonishingly only two points outside of a European spot after gaining promotion into the top-flight just two years ago.
