Brentford complete signing of Dango Ouattara

Brentford have smashed their transfer record to bring in Dango Ouattara from Bournemouth.

The Bees are believed to have paid around £42.5 million for the Burkina Faso international, making it the biggest signing in the club’s history.

Ouattara has penned a five-year deal in west London, with the option of extending for another season.

The 23-year-old made his mark at Bournemouth after arriving in January 2023, racking up 18 goal contributions in 81 Premier League outings.

Last season was his standout campaign with the Cherries, netting seven times and laying on four assists in 32 appearances - 21 of which were starts.
