In his first ever start for Brentford this evening, Dango Ouattara needed just 13 minutes to open his account. The new arrival from Burkina Faso handed his club their first victory of the season.
Brentford clinched a 1-0 win over Aston Villa in the second round of the Premier League. The solitary goal—and true hero of the night—was Aboubacar Dango Ouattara.
Very early on, in the 13th minute, Ouattara burst down the middle of the pitch. The 23-year-old winger showcased his blistering pace and physicality to outmuscle his opponent. In a lightning-fast counter, he skipped past the defender and found himself one-on-one with World Cup winner Emiliano Martínez. With remarkable composure, he outfoxed the keeper on his second attempt and slotted the ball home. Brentford led 1-0 against Aston Villa.
