🚨 BREAKING: Bournemouth complete signing of Serbia international

Bournemouth have completed the signing of goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic from Chelsea for a £25m (€28.8m).

The 25-year-old joins Bournemouth on a five-year deal as the Cherries beat competition from the likes of Sunderland, Monaco and Strasbourg.

The Serbian international spent last season on loan at Ligue 1 outfit Strasbourg and made 31 appearances.

Petrovic struggled for regular game time at Stamford Bridge after signing from MLS side New England in 2023 for £14m (€16.1m), playing just 23 Premier League matches.

Petrovic is likely to fill the Bournemouth goalkeeper gap left by former loanee Kepa Arrizabalaga, who returned to Chelsea before joining Arsenal on a permanent deal earlier this summer.
