Arsenal have signed Cristhian Mosquera from Valencia for an initial fee of £13m, with a further £3.5m in additional bonuses.
The Spain under-21 international joins the Premier League side on a five-year deal.
The Gunners had an initial £14m bid rejected for the 21-year-old earlier this summer before striking a deal with Valencia.
Mosquera made over 80 LaLiga appearances for Valencia after making his debut during the 2021/22 campaign.
He will likely provide competition for Arsenal's starting centre-back pair William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhães.
Mosquera becomes Arsenal's fourth signing of the summer window, following Martín Zubimendi, Christian Nørgaard and Kepa Arrizabalaga to the Emirates.
