Operário’s Simão completely stole the show in the second leg of the Brazilian Serie C final, as his squad lifted the Brazilian third-tier trophy.
After an incredible 3-3 first leg draw, Cuiabá came back home and dominated proceedings from the opening whistle.
However, despite all their efforts, Simão somehow kept the ball out of the net for 90 minutes with several acrobatic saves to give Operário a miraculous 1-0 win and claim the Serie C title.
And when we say acrobatic, we mean acrobatic.
But seriously, how ridiculous was this performance? We have a feeling that a couple larger clubs may him a call after witnessing this clutch performance.
Both teams were promoted to the Serie B for the 2019 season, in addition to Botafogo-SP and Bragantino for reaching the Serie C semi-finals.
