Borussia Dortmund confirm surgery for Anthony Modeste | OneFootball
Anthony Modeste has undergone successful surgery, Borussia Dortmund have confirmed on Thursday.
The striker has started just once since 1 October and the club say he has an issue for a number of weeks, causing him problems in training and in his last appearances ahead of the World Cup break.

The surgery was planned and Dortmund do not say when Modeste is expected to return, though Dortmund don’t play again until 22 January.
“Now it’s time for rehab so I can play fully fit and with total energy the new year,” the striker said.
