Joao Mario signs his contract with Juventus

It is only the second match of the summer for Juve, who were involved in the FIFA Club World Cup.

The Bianconeri are without Nico Gonzalez due to a thigh problem, while he also remains on the transfer market, so new signing David starts alongside Yildiz for the first time.

The big news is that Bremer gets his first start since undergoing surgery for a torn anterior cruciate ligament in October 2024.

Teun Koopmeiners was mistakenly named in the starting XI originally released by Juventus, but it is Joao Mario who plays instead.

Borussia Dortmund are giving former Roma defender Hummels one final run-out before he hangs up his boots this summer, so he is playing in this friendly for them.
