According to Sky Germany, Anton Stach has attracted interest from a host of clubs including Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen.
It is likely that the 24-year-old will leave Mainz in the summer as he is open to taking the next step in his career and he has a variety of clubs to choose from. As well as Dortmund and Leverkusen, Borussia Mönchengladbach are also interested in Stach. While clubs from England and Italy are also watching the midfielder.
Stach’s current contract expires in 2024 with an option for a further year after he joined Mainz from Greuther Fürth in 2021 for €3.5 million. Mainz will only let the 24-year-old leave for a fee between €10-15 million.
This season, Stach has played 24 times for Mainz scoring once and assisting three times. The 24-year-old had previously been called up to the Germany national team, but his form before the World Cup struggled to merit a call-up to the World Cup squad.
