Borussia Dortmund are undergoing coaching changes ahead of the 2025/26 season. As reported by Ruhr Nachrichten, Shad Forsythe and Florian Wangler are both leaving the club, the former after deciding that he would not be extending his contract at the club.

Marcelo Martins and Wangler are currently taking over the role of Forsythe, who served as the club’s Head of Performance. The American travelled with the team to Fort Lauderdale for the FIFA Club World Cup but his contract has since expired. Wangler will also be leaving the club he has been at since 2008.

While no successor has been found for Forsythe, Borussia Dortmund have a list of candidates to succeed the American, but nothing is concrete. However, RN report that Noah Tegatz is set to join die Schwarzgelben from Wolfsburg.
