Foot Mercato report that Bordeaux and Metz are leading the race to sign Lorient attacker Adrian Grbic (26), who has just returned from a six-moth loan stint with Valenciennes in Ligue 2. While Saint-Etienne briefly considered pursuing Grbic, they ultimately decided against pursuing the deal.
However, other clubs have emerged as potential suitors for the Austrian international. In France, FC Metz from Ligue 1 and Girondins de Bordeaux from Ligue 2 have shown interest. Additionally, overseas clubs such as Las Palmas and Monza have also expressed their desire to acquire his services.
Grbic is currently under contract with Lorient until June 2025, providing the club with leverage in negotiations. During his loan spell at Valenciennes, Grbic showcased his goal-scoring abilities, silencing his critics and reaffirming his reputation as a talented striker. His impressive return of nine goals in just 14 matches has caught the attention of clubs across Europe.
