New Inter signing Ange-Yoan Bonny called the move ‘a childhood dream come true’ made even more exciting by the chance to reunite with ex-Parma coach Cristian Chivu.
The transfer was completed this morning for €25m including add-ons, allowing him to become part of the new Nerazzurri project at San Siro.

“I feel so much emotion, I am very happy to be here,” Bonny told the official Inter channels.
“It is a childhood dream come true for me, I am still struggling to realise what’s happening. I can’t wait to get started.”
Although the French striker joined Parma in 2021 from Chateauroux, the 2024-25 campaign was only his debut Serie A season, having helped them to promotion.
He found the net six times with four assists in 37 top flight appearances.
“I am hungry and eager to do better than last season, so I can continue my progress. I want to learn from all these great players who will be around me every day.”
There is one familiar face, because Chivu was the Parma coach for the last few months of the season, and is now the new boss at Inter.
“Chivu helped me a great deal during those last three months at Parma, he is really a good person, and he had faith in me. I am very happy to be working with him again.”

Bonny was brought in as an understudy to Marcus Thuram, but his versatility means that he can also fill in for captain Lautaro Martinez when required.
“I can play more or less everywhere on the pitch, so you could say I am a modern striker. I like to have the ball and play with my teammates, but also to score goals and set up chances for others.
“I will watch Lautaro and Thuram every day in training, with the eyes of a child, trying to learn everything I can from them. It is a great opportunity for me to be working with them.”
There is a long history of French players representing Inter, so are there any from the past that he particularly admires?
“Certainly Thuram, but also Youri Djorkaeff, Laurent Blanc and Patrick Vieira. I hope to follow in their footsteps.”
