Boavista lose ex-Man Utd whiz Gomes back to Lille - but with compo clause

Boavista are giving up Angel Gomes back to Lille.

The midfielder had joined the Portuguese outfit on a two season loan, where he established himself as a key player.

But O Jogo says new Ligue 1 champions Lille are cutting short the loan by 12 months and bringing Gomes back to France for the new season.

However, Boavista have also been assured over Lille's intentions.

Should the former Manchester United midfielder be sold this summer, Boavista would be due 30 per cent of the fee raised as compensation.
