FLW's Blackburn fan pundit has named which one player the club absolutely must not sell this summer

Blackburn Rovers are preparing for another season in the Championship after coming seventh under Valerien Ismael in the previous campaign.
The Lancashire outfit will be hoping to improve on their position from last year and push for promotion to the Premier League.
The summer transfer window provides an opportunity for the Croatian to improve his first-team squad, with this being his first market as Blackburn manager.
However, holding onto players will also be key, with the likes of Tyrhys Dolan already departing Ewood Park this summer.
When asked which player the club absolutely has to keep this summer, FLW’s Blackburn fan pundit Simon Middlehurst named Callum Brittain.
He praised the full-back as their best player for the last years, while also suggesting that keeping Sondre Tronstad will also be important.
“Simple, Callum Brittain,” Middlehurst told Football League World.
“He has been Blackburn’s best player in the last two years by a mile, he brings so much to the team when he’s fit.
“Both defensively and attacking, he pops up with quite a few assists and he’s got a couple of goals here and there, so that is one player that we just cannot simply afford to sell.
“However, I think it’s probably going to happen that he’ll leave the club, which is sad.
“But, apart from him, Sondre Tronstad is another player.
“We cannot afford to lose him, he has been absolutely fantastic for Rovers these last two years.
“He’s come into his own, he’s become a fan favourite.
“I believe that rumours are going around that his family haven’t quite settled into England, which if you look on that basis fair enough, and he is possibly looking to move back to Norway, or back to Europe, where they seem a bit more settled.
“So, yeah, those two players.”
Blackburn begin their season away to West Brom on 9 August.
Brittain’s contract is set to expire next summer, leaving the club in a difficult position at the moment regarding his future.
The reported interest from Middlesbrough is only making matters worse, especially as their rivals will know he could be attainable at a lower cost than typically expected.
It’s been claimed that he’s refused a new deal, so they will have to cash in on him this year unless they are open to letting him depart as a free agent next summer.
