The Uruguay keeper is reportedly set to start the tournament as number one – and if so he would comfortably be the best option at this price in goal.
Elsewhere, Aymen Dahmen may have the edge over Bechir Ben Said for Tunisia – both come in at the same price as Rochet.
Tunisia have a decent history of defensive solidity. But if you don’t fancy the uncertainty of Dahmen, other likely starters in goal at the $4.0m mark include Mohammed Al-Owais of Saudi Arabia and Saad Al-Sheeb of Qatar.
The $3.0m mark is the lowest in the game – and you’re unlikely to find much fantasy gold at this price.
But in Qatar defender Khoukhi, you at least have a player at this price who could make his nation’s starting 11.
A total of 20 goals in 105 games for Qatar looks mighty impressive for a centre-back, however the 32-year-old Al Sadd star has previous as a winger.
So, don’t expect him to be banging in hat-tricks – but a couple of points as a bench backup with cash invested elsewhere could prove plenty of value.
If you’ve read our Iran team preview, you’ll know Iran are a bit of an unknown.
Manager Carlos Queiroz has been in charge of his team for just two games – but if Hajsafi gets the nod at left-back, his $3.5m price tag could be money well spent.
Iran should be defensively solid and there is potential for some clean sheets in group B – against USA, Wales and England.
Hajsafi, of AEK Athens, managed a goal and assist in qualifying. He has seven goals in 121 games for his country.
Gvardiol is often tipped as one of the brightest young talents in World football – and at $4.0m offers a cheap route into a solid team in Croatia.
He will face Morocco, Canada and Belgium in the group stages, so the route to clean sheets is easier to see in the first two fixtures.
Gvardiol has one goal in 12 for his country but the attraction with Gvardiol is price point, rather than attacking returns on top of defensive points.

Fancy an even cheaper route into the Croatia back four?
It is also worth noting that Croatia full-back Sosa comes in at $3.5m and is another excellent option.
The left-sided player did not register a goal or assist in five qualifying games, however he has five assists in the Bundesliga so far this season.
Tunisia have recorded nine clean sheets in 13 games in 2022, although up against the might of Brazil in September, they were routed 5-1.
Denmark, France and Australia make up a tough group for the African qualifiers, however expect Tunisia to be tough to break down.
Drager is a right-back, who can also play further up the pitch as a winger.
He has three goals in 33 games for Tunisia and three in 14 for Luzern in the Swiss Super League so far this season.
In qualifying, he netted one goal in three appearances.
At his price point, he offers a variety of potential avenues to points.
Leeds United full-back Kristensen is a likely starter for Denmark and comes in at a cut-price $4.0m.
Joakim Maehle is just $0.5m cheaper, is the more nailed of the full-backs and was joint-top scorer in qualifying for the Danes.
If your budget can’t stretch that far though, or you fancy a Denmark double defence, Kristensen could be your man.
Kristensen has yet to score in 10 games for his country, however he returned roughly one in seven games for his old club side Red Bull Salzburg before moving to the Premier League.
Aston Villa full-back Cash has one goal in seven games for his country since becoming a Polish citizen in late 2021.
Premier League fans will know he has the potential for attacking returns and Poland have a group in which they could feasibly finish in the top two.
They play Mexico and Saudi Arabia first before a showdown with Argentina.

There are a small handful of starting $4.0m midfielders, however Salman Al-Faraj, should he be fit for the tournament having picked up a shoulder injury recently, could be the among the best bets.
Potentially playing further forward in midfield, Al-Faraj has eight goals in 69 games for Saudi Arabia.
He has the ability to pick up some tackle points, too. He completed five tackles against China in qualifying in March, for example.
