Besiktas make contract offer to ex-Arsenal defender David Luiz

Besiktas are in contact with released Arsenal defender David Luiz.

Olympique Marseile are maintaining contact with the 34 year-old Brazilian, with coach Jorge Sampaoli eager to see him signed.

However, it's emerged Besiktas have made a contract offer to Luiz in the last 24 hours.

The veteran also has proposals from Flamengo, OM and Lazio.

All clubs in contact are willing to hand Luiz a two-year agreement.
