The manager of the Belgian national team, Domenico Tedesco, spoke about Romelu Lukaku’s future and this time in the Italian capital.
In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Tedesco reflected on Lukaku’s season with the Giallorossi.
“He arrived at Roma with the season already underway, he was training with Chelsea’s second team, he did all the preparation without knowing what would become of him. I was very happy when I learned that he was returning to Italy.”
“And in Rome he was the protagonist right from the start: it’s hard for someone who came from a difficult summer like he did.”
“Obviously, when you sign Romelu the expectations are high, but he handles the pressure with incredible calmness,” Tedesco concluded.
