Bayern Munich are reconsidering new contract talks with Niklas Sule.
The Germany defender's current deal runs to 2022 and Bayern were expected to open talks about a new deal in January.
However, BILD says Bayern's board is “undecided" as to whether Süle meets the requirements of a “Bayern player".
The key issue is Sule's battles with his weight, where it's suggested he has been carrying at least an extra two kilos for years. His penchant for fast food is becoming a problem for Bayern staff.
Just last week, Bild journalist Christian Falk said the ex-Hoffenheim defender has set his sights on a move to Old Trafford in the future.
Taking to Twitter, he said: "True: Niklas Sule dreams of playing for Man Utd one day."
