Bayern signed Sadio Mané after losing Robert Lewandowski last summer but the Senegalese is not a natural striker and has quickly fallen out of favour at the Allianz Arena.

Kane has one year remaining on his Tottenham contract and has been linked with moves to Real Madrid and Manchester United, though the former seem ready to wait for the chance to sign Kylian Mbappé from Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham are more likely to entertain offers from outside the Premier League.

The striker is the all-time top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and is just 47 goals behind Alan Shearer as the top scorer in Premier League history.
