According to the report, Bayern are hoping the increased chances of landing silverware and the opportunity to link up with their attacking talent will help entice Kane to Bavaria.

Die Roten are said to be prepared to wait until next summer to fill the out and out striker role vacated by Robert Lewandowski’s recent switch to Barcelona.

The only way that would change is if their trophy targets for this season were in jeopardy come the January window.

In the meantime, winger Kingsley Coman is said to be prepared to fill in as a stopgap number nine.
