In their latest efforts to find the next Christian Pulisic or Weston McKennie, Bayern Munich have had a pair of young American talents flown into their facility.
Despite not having the best of successes with Julian Green or Landon Donovan, Die Roten have not given up on finding the next great American talent.
According to Bild, FC Bayern has had Sporting Kansas City’s Cameron Duke and LA Galaxy’s Ulysses Llanez flown to Munich for what has been described as a ‘secret trial.’
Duke, a defender/midfielder in Sporting Kansas City’s academy, was a top player in the U-16/17 US Soccer Development Academy Central Division.
Llanez, who has already played nine games for the LA Galaxy’s second team in the United Soccer League, is a striker.
He is also a member of the U-20 squad of the US national team.
Early last week, Bayern announced the signing of 18-year-old FC Dallas centre-back Chris Richards on a six-month loan.
