Bayern Munich have confirmed that Bouna Sarr is facing several months out due to injury.
The Senegalese right-back made just three competitive appearances this season as Noussair Mazraoui’s understudy before suffering a training-ground injury.

But Thomas Tuchel’s side revealed on Friday that Sarr will spend a period on the sidelines after undergoing surgery.
“Bouna Sarr tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in training,” confirmed a Bayern statement.
“The Senegalese full-back already underwent surgery on Friday and will therefore be out of action for the coming months.”
The reigning Bundesliga champions entertain Union Berlin in their next outing on Saturday.
