Bayern Munich complete the signing of Mathys Tel | OneFootball

The transfer of the 19 years old forward Mathys Tel from Stade Rennes to Bayern Munich is a done deal. This has been confirmed by various French insiders.

The transfer of Mathys Tel to FC Bayern has already been indicated in the past few days, and as of today, it can now be considered a deal done. As several French media, including „L’Equipe“, reported on Saturday, Stade Rennes and Bayern Munich have agreed on the fee for a transfer of the 17-year-old forward.

According to information from „L’Equipe, Le Parisien and RMC Sport“, Bayern will pay 30 million euros including bonus payments for the versatile attacker.

The French U18 international player has received a 5-year contract that will keep him at Bayern until 2027 and is due to complete the obligatory medical check in Munich next week.

Mathys Tel is considered one of the greatest French talents of his time, with Rennes in Ligue 1, he has completed only 49 competitive minutes. Bayern wanted to complete the deal quickly before his value rose and before other clubs would splash money for the striker. Tel can play as a center forward and as a winger.
