Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz has on Saturday moved to reveal his appreciation for a member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona.
Wirtz, for his part, is fresh off another starring display on the continent in midweek.
Continuing to make a name for himself as one of the very best young talents in the game, the 21-year-old took his tally to five goals in five appearances across all competitions this season, courtesy of a Champions League brace against Feyenoord.
On Saturday, Wirtz, in turn, was asked for his take on the debate surrounding the game’s standout up-and-coming performers at this moment in time.
And the German international was not at all hesitant in pointing towards a member of the frontline at the aforementioned Barcelona.
Speaking during an interview with DAZN España, Wirtz was asked to name ‘the biggest young talent in the world’.
