An insight into the latest plans of those behind the scenes at La Liga giants Barcelona for the summer transfer window has this weekend been provided.

The info comes courtesy of Diario Sport, and confirms that Deco and co. remain hard at work to reinforce Hansi Flick’s squad.

One arrival has of course already been confirmed in Catalunya’s capital over the last couple of weeks, in the form of Espanyol goalkeeper Joan García.

And next on the wishlist, it will come as little surprise to hear, is Athletic Club standout Nico Williams.

FC Copenhagen prodigy Roony Bardghji, meanwhile, is also on the verge of taking his talents to the Camp Nou.

And yet, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then the Blaugrana will be far from done there.

As per Sport:

‘Deco will try to close the summer by incorporating a full-back and some offensive complement if possible. That’s the idea.’
