Exterior urbanization around the stadium has already been completed, and the installation of seats and waterproofing of the stands have begun.

Barcelona’s renovation plans are supported by a €1.45 billion loan from investors, primarily led by Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan. The club have assured that the budget remains intact, with external monitoring in place.

When will Barcelona return to Camp Nou?

Although Laporta has refused to set a date on a potential date on the return to Camp Nou, the club do have certain plans in place.

Barcelona’s idea is to return to the Camp Nou with an initial capacity of 64,000 fans. The club have confirmed that the renovation plans for their iconic stadium are progressing as scheduled, with both deadlines and budgets being met as planned.

The main objective is to play a match before the end of the year. Whether or not Barcelona can achieve this target remains to be seen.
