Despite making a solid impression at almost every chance he has received, Pablo Torre has found it hard to nail down a place in Hansi Flick’s Barcelona setup due to the sheer quality of players ahead of him.
With his contract set to expire in 2026 and given his lack of minutes, speculations about the Spaniard’s future at the Catalan club have been rife for a while now.
It has been suggested that Barça could offer him a short-term renewal and loan him out next season so that he can play regularly and return to the club or at least boost his market value.
Building on that, Fichajes now reports that Pablo Torre is indeed likely to leave Barcelona in the summer transfer window.
With the need for regular minutes to continue his development, a loan move is the most likely outcome as far as the Spanish attacking midfielder is concerned.

The report further adds that two clubs in La Liga – Villarreal and Celta Vigo – are monitoring Torre’s situation and would be interested in signing him on loan in the summer.
Apart from the two La Liga sides, Torre’s former club, Racing Santander, are also looking at him as a potential reinforcement for next season, especially if they are successful in achieving promotion to the Spanish top flight.
Torre would be open to returning home, where he could play a key role in the team. At the same time, playing for an established La Liga team could also be appealing for the young talent.
The final decision will depend on several factors, including the sporting project that appeals most to the youngster and the conditions set by Barcelona for the loan.
