Barcelona are in regular contact with Manchester City defender Eric Garcia ahead of the January market.
Off contract in June, Garcia is prepared to move to Barca next summer.

However, La Cuatro says Barca want to buy Garcia in January after losing Gerard Pique for the remainder of the season to knee injury.
Barca made an attempt over the summer, but City refused to drop their €25m valuation.
However, there is hope City will soften their stand given Garcia is about to enter the final six months of his deal.
