Barcelona star spotted in tears after injury blow vs Sevilla | OneFootball

Barcelona star Ronald Araújo was left looking inconsolable on the bench, after suffering an injury setback on Sunday evening.

Barcelona are of course currently locked in action, on the domestic front.

Fresh off a five-goal drubbing of Valencia in the Copa del Rey in midweek, the Blaugrana have turned attentions back towards matters in La Liga, in a meeting with Sevilla.

As things stand, the two sides are locked at a goal apiece, after Robert Lewandowski’s early opener was immediately cancelled out by Rubén Vargas.

And as alluded to above, Barcelona’s setback on the scoreline was soon followed by a blow on the personnel front, too.

After going to ground with an ankle problem, Ronald Araújo was forced to limp out of proceedings, replaced in the visitors’ backline by Pau Cubarsí.

Not long back after a long-term spell on the sidelines with a muscular injury, the Uruguayan, in turn, was spotted in tears as his ankle was wrapped in ice whilst on the bench.
