Barcelona star Marc-André ter Stegen has been left hurt by the ongoing campaign on the part of the club’s supporters, pushing for his sale this summer.

The name of shot-stopper Ter Stegen has of course proven an altogether prominent one in the chatter in Catalunya’s capital over recent days.

This comes after the Barcelona faithful kicked into gear a collective online push, to influence the Camp Nou brass towards the German’s sale.

Amid ongoing links with Espanyol standout Joan García, Barcelona are understood to be taking into account a potential parting of ways with Ter Stegen.

And the widespread nature of the campaign against him, as alluded to above, has not gone at all unnoticed on the part of the 33-year-old himself.

As per a report from Barcelona insider Achraf Ben Ayad on Friday, Ter Stegen has been left ‘upset’ by the recent criticism he has been facing, evidently of the opinion that he is being unfairly treated by the Blaugrana fanbase.
