Barcelona have another young talent to admire this season as Fermín López continues to show he’s ready to make his mark.
The young Spaniard has lit up the Paris 2024 Olympics and was the key talent to drag his side all the way to the final against hosts France.
And after Spain goalkeeper Arnau Tenas punched the ball into his net for the opener, the 21-year-old Barcelona star returned to save Spain.
López turned things 1-1 with a low drive into the left corner before showing his true scoring instincts with a late run into the box to stab home a second.
He now has six goals in six games at the Olympics.
It means he is now Spain’s all-time leading scorer at the Olympics. Francisco Miguel Narváez “Kiko” previously held the record with five goals.
